Sisterhood of Temple Beth David is a proud member of the Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), the women's affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism. Sisterhood sponsors many events during the year. Our programming includes successful rummage sales, women's retreat, giant gingerbread dreidel-making, and breakfasts with featured speakers on subjects of interest. The highlight of the fall is the annual Paid-Up Dinner. 
 
Sisterhood does more than simply sponsor wonderful events, we supply the goodies for Break Fast at the conclusion of Yom Kippur, and provide the lovely Kiddush cups given to each B'nai Mitzvah. We will send gifts to our college-age members at Chanukah and donate scholarship money for youngsters to be able to attend Jewish camps during the summer. We give gifts to the Confirmation students, a large kitchen donation and other charitable gifts throughout the year.  

We encourage you to join us so that we may continue to support the temple, school and other activities that add to our Jewish identity. Please know that your dues are supporting the concept of Sisterhood as well as the continuity of the various programs and obligations we have undertaken throughout the years. 

Mah Jongg Card Orders

Orders for Mah Jongg cards are being collected until February 5, 2010. If collecting for your club, be sure to include names for each individual. The cards, from the National Mah Jongg League, are available in two sizes.
