4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Join us to hear Dr. J. Jacques Carter, a distinguished physician at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In his talk, “Race, Medicine and Health Care During our Turbulent Times,” Dr. Carter will speak about the disparity in health care, the impetus behind the Black Lives Matter movement and the social upheaval that is a result of the confluence of the pandemic, politics and racism. Dr. Carter was recently awarded the Harvard Alumni Association Award for outstanding service and has held leadership posts in many community organizations.

This session is open to all temple members and we encourage all to attend. See your weekly email for zoom link or contact sisterhood@templebethdavid.net.
