Grades 3-6 Opening Hebrew Sessions THIS Week
You received your child/ren's Hebrew assignment by email. If you have any questions, please contact Rabbi Karen. Remote students will receive Zoom links during the day.
DROP OFF: Every child will be checked in to make sure the health consent is complete, and to be shown to their class location. Please sign your health form ahead of time and don't forget your masks. Students may bring a water bottle. Note that class sessions will end earlier this year (around 50 minutes) to allow for enhanced cleaning between groups. We are currently limiting people in the building. Parents, please let us know if you need to come in.
PICK UP: Children will be waiting outside to be picked up. Please wait in single file in your car and be patient as children get into cars. Thank you!
ALL In-Person Sessions: Please click on and read the new health and safety guidelines below from the reopening task force. You will receive an electronic health consent form that you must sign prior to each session in order for your child to attend. Note that we are adhering to the Westwood Public Schools standard for masks, which is as follows:
A face mask that covers the nose and mouth must be worn by all individuals in school buildings and on school grounds, even when social distancing is observed. Masks can be disposable or reusable. Masks must fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin, be made with at least two layers of breathable material, fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face, and be secured with ties or ear loops. Based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material, or holes of any kind will not be considered appropriate masks.
Weather permitting, both services will be held outdoors in the temple parking lot. Advanced registration is required; space is limited. Services will also be livestreamed for those who prefer to participate from home.
Sunday, Apr 7th 10:30a to 11:30aVolunteers are needed for our Sunday Sandwich Hevre (SSH). We will be making lunches for homeless people at Father Bill's and Mainspring Shelter. Each week, a different Shorashim grade will also participate. Delivery to Quincy.
