Tomorrow will be our last class before our Thanksgiving break. Weather is looking chilly as the sun sets so we will enjoy our pizza inside in the Rosen/Sanctuary. Remember, please let us know if you will not be able to attend a Wednesday session by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday so that we can adjust the dinner order.
Wild card Wednesday will continue for elective options including a continuation of our teen mental health discussion with youth advisor, Jason Allen, yoga, Jewish music of gratitude, the light of Chanukah through art, and the myticism of the month of Kislev (the month when Chanukah occurs).
Here are some things to look forward to after Thanksgiving. Double Chai students who were part of the fall leadership elective will faciliate a Chanukah program for the whole school. On December 8th and 15th Boston area Jewish arts educator Shirah Rubin will work with the 8th-12th grade students on a ceramics project that combines art and recording our own personal values. More information coming soon. 7th graders will have their own art project that focuses on becoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
Finally, there is still time for 8th-12th grades to sign up for Fall Conclavette this Saturday. See the information below. Thanks NAWDTY teens for putting on a great jNAWDTY game day last Sunday for the middle school students. Stay tuned for more NAWDTY and jNAWDTY events.
