We look forward to being together this week. Coming together in community and seeing friends is so important in our world today, especially for our teens. We will continue with the abbriviated structure below through the rest of January. We hope that as February begins, Covid infections will come down and we can resume dinner along with our normal schedule.
Double Chai will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m. There will be no dinner or snack served.
7th Grade will enjoy its regular core class while 8th-12th graders have a guest speaker and discussion in honor of Tu Bishvat, the New Year of the Trees (celebrated on Monday) focusing on Jewish environmental activism. Following class will have an extend hangout/social period. We will conclude with a general mental health check-in and follow up with the rabbis on the events that transpired this past Saturday at Congregation Beth Israel in Texas.
