Hearing "The Shema": Exploring the Many Meanings of One (via Zoom) with Temple Member Edie Selles

There is arguably no more important statement in Judaism than the Sh’ma. Its words have meant different things throughout history. This three-part course we will explore the meanings of the Sh’ma as it was heard by ancient sages and contemporary thinkers. We will also discuss what it means to our own relationships with each other and the Divine in these fractured, uncertain times in which we live.
