Shorashim Family Shabbat Experience on Friday, December 6 A lively, musical Shabbat service for all ages! Birthday Blessing. We'll also be getting ready for Chanukah! Students will participate. Enjoy a more leisurely dinner after the service with activities for kids and get to know other families! This counts for Shabbat Service attendance. 5:30 pm Pre-Oneg snacks 6:00 pm Friday Night Live Service with the band 7:00 pm Congregational Shabbat Dinner (Catered by Conrads) RSVP for Dinner Here BY THIS Morning(*younger children will eat first) This is in place of the Sunday morning session on Dec. 8.
Grades 3-6: Hebrew sessions continue on Tuesday, December 10 OR Wednesday, December 11 - "Hebrew Beit Midrash" this week in Beit Simcha!
Grades K-6: Sunday, December 15, 9:30-11:30 am Everyone will begin in the Sanctuary together for opening blessings. Hannukah Happening -a fun, hands-on Hannukah experience with games, crafts and food for younger children - begins at 10:00 for preschool age children. Grades K-2 will join at 10:20. Children must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
Creative Hanukkah Learning for Grades 3-6 SSH (Sunday Sandwich Hevre) with 4th Grade participating at 10:30.
15-20 minutes a week of Hebrew practice is encouraged and will really help. Please check your folders.
