5th Graders Making 50 Lunches During Sunday Sandwich Hevre (SSH)
6th Graders at B'nai Mitzvah Retreat
Dear Parents,
Thank you for all your support as we have kicked off this year with our 140 students! There has been great energy and engagement. This Sunday, we will continue to take advantage of the nice fall weather with a theme of "Judaism in Nature." If possible, please lend the teachers a hand with bringing supplies in and out of the building. Please let us know if your child will be absent as it helps with planning and spacing of children.
Hebrew students should continue to bring their folders mid-week and practice at home (see recordings below).
We are bringing back Shorashim Shabbat Family Experiences starting next weekend. While it will look different, there will be something for everyone. Thanks for taking a moment to read this message.
Please reach out with any questions. With gratitude, Rabbi Karen & Rabbi Micah

Jewish practice continues to evolve! Shabbat is important. We will try for an outdoor weather permitting Shabbat dinner catered by Comella's (food will be served). Put on your parka and enjoy a cozy Shabbat dinner at Temple. Advanced sign up is required (no cost to enrolled K-6 students). Relax and meet other families. Followed by a family-friendly Shabbat service indoors with distancing and masks. The service will also be livestreamed. Materials will also be sent to help faciliate Shabbat dinner at home.
Every Sunday morning we need parent volunteers to help especially when children are outside. Due to COVID, students are outdoors as much as possible. We need adults to walk the perimeter around the temple to help with security, and to assist teachers with moving supplies. Get your steps in! Please volunteer for at least one session.
Wake up and celebrate Shabbat together! Enjoy songs and blessings outside followed by play time on the playground (park and walk around to the back of the building). All are welcome! A great way to meet other families. Outdoors weather permitting. To help us plan, please let Leah know if you plan to attend: RSVP Here
