Simchat Torah and Consecration of New Students THIS Sunday, September 26, 11:00-11:30 am
You are especially invited to join this Sunday at the end of our Shorashim program for Simchat Torah Celebration & Consecration of New Students. Although Simchat Torah is Monday evening, due to COVID, we will celebrate outdoors in the morning as we welcome our 30 new students this year! All new students will receive their very own mini Torah scroll and something sweet. We will end another year of Torah reading and begin again as a community. Music and Torah parade! 4th Grade students will receive their siddur (prayerbook). We look foward to rejoicing and celebrating with you! Livestream will also be available.
Every Sunday morning we need parent volunteers to help especially when children are outside. Due to COVID, kids are outdoors as much as possible and every grade has a designated outdoor learning space. We need adults to walk the perimeter around the temple to help with security, and to assist teachers with moving supplies. Please volunteer for at least one session, thank you.
