We hope you are enjoying summer and looking forward to a new school year. This message contains important information about the start of our K-12 Shorashim Religious School program. It is a little different as we will be starting after the High Holidays this year. Please see opening session information below. We hope to see you during the holidays and especially the outdoor Family Tashlich Experience on September 12. We are excited to welcome familiar faces and many new faces this year!
Speaking of faces, masking will be required indoors. As many of you know from last year, Temple Beth David is blessed with large, open indoor and outdoor spaces conducive for distancing. We will be creative and make use of the outdoors again when possible. Physical and mental health are on all of our minds. The temple community is here to support the children and all of you as we embark on another year of engaging and spirited Jewish learning. As of now, SSH (Sunday Sandwich Hevre) and electives will be back!
The next message will contain more detailed session and teacher information, along with health and safety protocols. Please reach out with ANY questions.
Looking forward to seeing you soon! Rabbi Karen and Rabbi Micah
