A reminder that there are NO Hebrew or Double Chai classes during Passover March 30/31 except for the special Confirmation session.
Please read carefully below for a change in this weekend's K-6 schedule. When we planned the calendar, we did not realize it would be a three day weekend with schools off for Good Friday/Easter. Additionally, a small classroom expansion project began yesterday at temple so we will not have access to several of the classrooms this Sunday. Please see 3 great Shabbat options below!
Grades K-6 THIS Weekend: NO class session this Sunday, April 4 (see reasons above) Instead, you have a choice of 3 Family Shabbat Experiences Choose 1, 2, or all 3!:
Friday, April 2 Shabbat Evening Service on Zoom 6:30-7:20 pm Including April Birthday Blessing, (pj's are fine :) You can have candles, wine, and a Shabbat/Passover treat ready!
Saturday, April 3 Shabbat Morning Service & Bat Mitzvah on Livestream 10:30 am-12:00 pm (especially good for 5th/6th graders)
Saturday, April 3 In Person Outdoor Havdalah Program 4:00-5:15 pm Crafts, games, and stories connected to Havdalah for the whole family and fun time on the Playground; we will conclude with the brief Havdalah ceremony (saying goodbye to Shabbat) at 5:00. Please let Leah know if you plan to attend so that we can plan accordingly. You will receive the health consent to sign later this week.
Grades 3-6 Hebrew Learning: April 6 or 7 (and Double Chai Teens)
Grades K-6: Sunday, April 11, 9:45-11:30 am (hopefully outdoors)
