Samech is the first letter of the word seder, which means "order." On Passover, the seder follows a specific order of telling our story of the Exodus from Egypt to freedom. The word seder has the same shoresh (root) as the word siddur (prayer book), which also follows a specific order. Even though things seem out of order right now, we hope you will be able to create good Passover memories at your family seder.
