Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you well as the school year comes to a close. As fellow parents, we recognize how hard it has been for the kids and teens these past months. In our minds, you are all heroes for helping your kids with learning, working from home, taking care of yourselves and everyone else, and trying to stay sane. We have truly missed seeing all of you.
We are in the process of planning for next year. As you know, there are various scenarios possible, and we are waiting to hear from the public schools before making a final plan. We are hoping for a hybrid of some in person and online learning. State health and safety guidlines will ultimately guide us. We will offer flexible options that speak to diverse learning needs. Unlike the spring, we now have more time to plan. To that end, we are sending you a BRIEF PARENT SURVEY BELOW. Please offer your thoughts and feedback to help us plan for next year BY next Friday, June 26.
Thank you to everyone who has already registered for next year. We understand there is uncertainty. We are committed to shaping a meaningful and engaging Jewish learning program that speaks to the hearts, minds, and souls of our youth. Jewish values and community can especially nourish us during this difficult time. We are so glad you are part of the Temple Beth David Community, and look forward to welcoming your children back in the fall.
Your registration in June will help us plan. To make things easier, you will only be billed $100 in July. There will be potential reduction in fees if there is more online learning. Financial assistance is available.
Wishing you a good, albeit different, summer ahead! Please be in touch with ANY questions. Rabbi Karen and Rabbi Micah Wendy Berliner, VP of Education

We are so grateful for all of our Madrichim! You make a difference! We are looking for students to serve as teaching assistants in Sunday Shorashim and/or weekday Hebrew next year. Students interested need to be in 8th-12th grade, enrolled in Double Chai, and enjoy working with younger kids. You can find more information below. Please scan/mail back the application by next Friday. Thank you!
