Temple Office Hours
We are pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, June 8, the temple office will be open in person Tuesdays-Fridays from 9:00 am-1:00 pm.
Lunchtime Talmud Thursday, June 10, 12-1 pm
We will continue our regular study of Tamud Brachot (Blessings) with the rabbis. All are welcome including beginners! We will meet AT the Temple, along with the Zoom option below.

No Small Matter is a documentary that shares the impressive and growing body of evidence about the importance of learning and brain growth in ages 0-5. Community Shabbat Morning Service Saturday, June 19 at 10:00 am
All ages are welcome to participate in a communal Shabbat morning service led by the rabbis at temple! The service will be held outdoors weather permitting, and will include musical prayer, Torah reading and discussion.
Reopening Update
From the Reopening Task Force
Please see the special email that was sent last Friday. The Reopening Task force met recently to address changes as we emerge from the restrictions that have kept us safe and healthy. We will continue to hold Friday night services outdoors as weather permits, and have now resumed indoor services as well. The spacing between groups has decreased and vaccinated attendees may remove masks during outdoor services. Lifecycle services will continue indoors with decreased spacing and larger groups. Small groups may meet at the Temple. There is no Oneg or communal meals yet. Remote access via Zoom or livestream will continue.

SSH and Family Table Donations
While we are not able to volunteer in person, the temple is continuing our commitment to JF&CS Family Table and Father Bill's & Mainspring Shelter. Family Table - Whole grain pasta and canned salmon Father Bill's - individually wrapped breakfast items and travel-sized toiletries. Please drop donations in the bins in the lobby.
Family Table Summary (and Summer)
This year, Temple Beth David contributed 227 cans of salmon and 263 packages of whole grain pasta to Family Table (and that’s just what we know of)! Jewish Family and Children’s Services is incredibly appreciative of the many donations made to their food pantry by the Temple Beth David community. Don‘t stop this summer! The bins in the lobby are still here...bring pasta or salmon when you come to services. Family Table also has a wish list on Amazon, find it here. The items on this list are in priority order, so send whatever you can. Thank you for your continued support of Family Table!

Brotherhood Events THIS Sunday, June 13
The Brotherhood's Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Sunday, June 13 at 9:30 am. The purpose of the meeting is to elect a new slate of officers for next year and to solicit ideas for next year's programs. Following the 15 minute annual meeting, the brotherhood board is invited to Michael Perna's house for a mini breakfast of bagels, coffee and juice. The brotherhood board meeting will begin at 10:15. Following the meeting at Michael Perna's house there will be a session of Hearing Men's Voices at 11:15. All brotherhood members are invited to the board meeting and HMV session. If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Mike Perna.
Sisterhood members, please join us for our traditional Wine & Cheese Social on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 pm at the home of Wendy Weitzner in Westwood. Details and the RSVP are in the recently emailed invite. Promises to be a fun evening and we extend a special welcome to new members!
