All are welcome to celebrate Shabbat at Temple outdoors weather permitting or in the Sanctuary. Masks are required for indoor services. You can also join the service through Livestream.
Family Tashlich Exerience Sunday, September 12, 10:00 am
This will take place at Buckmaster Pond across the street from the temple weather permitting and will be in person only. An opportunity to “cast away” missed marks this past year. Please bring your own bread crumbs or alternative. Especially child and family-friendly! With a sweet treat to follow.
Yom Kippur Food Drive
The mitzvah of tzedakah, righteous giving, is a core value of our tradition. The prophet Isaiah spoke of fasting as a reminder to do good and share our bread with the hungry. Temple Beth David Habitat for Humanity Westwood Build
Please join our temple build from 9:00-3:30 on Sunday, September 26at 5 Highview Street in Westwood. Participants must be 16 or older and no tools or building experience are needed. We are limited to 6 builders due to Covid so sign up today! For more information or to sign up please click here:
The Fundraising Committee will be hosting an in-person 60th Anniversary Gala at the Temple on Saturday, December 11, Covid permitting. We welcome volunteers to help to plan, promote, and implement this special celebratory event. SSH and JF&CS Family Table Donations
The temple is continuing our commitment to JF&CS Family Table and Father Bill's & Mainspring Shelter. Family Table - Whole grain pasta and canned salmon Father Bill's - individually wrapped breakfast items and travel-sized toiletries. Please drop donations in the bins in the lobby. Jewish Family and Children’s Services is appreciative of the donations made to their food pantry by the Temple Beth David community. Bring pasta or salmon when you come to temple. Family Table also has a wish list on Amazon here. The items are in priority order, so please send what you can. Thank you for your continued support!
