Dear Parents, 

Enjoy a few pictures from last Sunday - 2nd grade guest parent reader, Jewish food craft elective, and teva (nature) elective trip to the pond!

This Sunday's learning will be all about getting ready for Chanukah! We look forward to seeing you. Please let Rabbi Karen know if your child/ren will not be present as it helps with spacing and distancing indoors. Wishing you a good Thanksgiving break and Happy Chanukah!

Upcoming Calendar

Sunday, November 21, 9:30-11:30 am Shorashim Grades K-6
Pre-Chanukah learning for all!! And last week of 3rd-6th grade chugim (electives). We will all start on the parking lot together for opening blessings. Please park and parents are encouraged to join. Bring a jacket. There will be an outside pick-up line - *If you have a younger child who needs help getting into the car or into a booster seat, please park and pick up your child.* Thank you for your help. 

There will be no Hebrew Learning on Tuesday, November 23 or Wednesday, November 24. No classes on Sunday, November 28.

Hebrew Learning resumes November 30 and December 1 with Menorah lighting at the end of each session.

Sunday Security Greeters through December

Each Sunday morning we need parent volunteers to help especially when children are outside. Due to COVID, students are outdoors when possible. We need adults to walk the perimeter around the temple to help with security, and to assist teachers with moving supplies. Get your steps in! Please volunteer for at least one session. You can also email Rabbi Karen.

Sisterhood Judaica Shop

The Temple Beth David Sisterhood will be managing an outdoor booth for the Judaica shop during Sunday Shorashim pick up until it gets too cold to be outside for long. They will be set up from 11:15 to 11:40 am or so. We will be accepting cash, checks, or Venmo. It is mostly Hanukkah items right now, but other items are available upon request.
