Lunchtime Talmud Thursday, November 11, 12-1 pm
We are continuing our study of Tamud Brachot (Blessings) with the rabbis. All are welcome including beginners! We will meet at the Temple, along with the Zoom option below. (Find new text here):
“Who Is The God Of Jewish Prayer? Searching for the Divine Metaphor in Jewish Worship” We will explore the structure of daily and Sabbath prayer and seek to identify divine metaphors therein. Please bring a prayer book with Shabbat and weekday liturgy. Prayer books can be borrowed from the temple or you can follow thislink to Mishkan T'filah.
The Sukkah is going to be disassembled and stored thisSunday, November 14 starting at 10:00 am. Everyone's help is needed. Please bring power drills and ladders if you have them. Please meet at the Temple by the back shed, next to the basketball hoop. We will enjoy some coffee, get to know one another and get to work. At least one pick up truck will be very helpful. This project is organized by the Brotherhood.
Afghan Resettlement
Please see your special message from yesterday and consider participating in the temple community's efforts to help relocate and integrate a family of Afghan evacuees to the Westwood area. The most immediate need is monetary donations. Thank you for joining in the effort of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).

NFTY Northeast Fall Conclavette - Saturday, November 20 10:30 am - 5:30 pm at Temple Sinai in Sharon All 8th-12th graders are invited to enjoy a fun Shabbat day with other teens from youth groups in the New England area.
