The family was greeted at the airport on November 30!
They were moved into a safe, fully, and beautifully furnished apartment in a lovely community on December 12!
And, as of December 30, they are receiving all their government benefits, have their internet, utilities, and TV working, have a weekly English tutor, have appointments for Covid booster shots, and appointments for physicals for their children!
Please drop donations of whole grain pasta and canned salmon in the bins in the lobby. Jewish Family and Children’s Services is appreciative of the donations made to their food pantry by the Temple community. Family Table also has a wish list on Amazon here. The items are in priority order, so please send what you can. Thank you for your continued support!

The Rashi School Announces Special Tuition Subsidies
The Rashi School, the K-8 Boston Area Reform Jewish Independent School located in Dedham on the same campus as Newbridge Senior Housing, was founded in 1986. Rabbi Zoob, our Rabbi Emeritus, is the Founding Chair. Rashi offers top general and Jewish education. Graduates have been accepted at the most prestigious preparatory schools in the area. Currently, some major philanthropists have made possible a $10,000 tuition subsidy for the first year of attendance at Rashi, and subsequent tuition subsidies for $8000 and $6000 are available for years two and three. If you are interested in exploring Rashi for your child, please call Ilyssa Greene Grey, the Director of Admissions at Rashi, at 781-355-9318 for the details. A number of Beth David families have sent their children to the Rashi School. Rabbi Zoob’s grandson, Jordan, is in the first grade at Rashi. Deadline for the special tuition subsidies is Jan. 14th.
