Good News Update: The family that the temple is helping has been settled into their new apartment as of this weekend! They have two young children. Consider participating in the temple community's efforts to help relocate and integrate a family of Afghan evacuees to our area. Thank you for joining this effort of Tikkun Olam (repairing our world). Contact Barbara and Mark Friedman with any questions.  

JF&CS Family Table Donations

Please drop donations of whole grain pasta and canned salmon in the bins in the lobby. Jewish Family and Children’s Services is appreciative of the donations made to their food pantry by the Temple community. Family Table also has a wish list on Amazon here. The items are in priority order, so please send what you can. Thank you for your continued support!

Sisterhood & Brotherhood

The Sisterhood is sponsoring a diaper drive with the help of Anna Small, a recent Bat Mitzvah who made the diaper drive her Tzedakah project.
During the pandemic, families have had a difficult time affording diapers, which affects whether or not their children can attend day care. The drive will benefit local agencies Self Help, Inc and A Place to Turn. Sizes especially needed are: 3,4,5,6, pull-ups boys and girls and wipes, unopened packages only. Please leave the diapers in the labeled bin in the coat closet across from the office. 

Join us for the Book Group. We will be discussing Apeirogon by Colum McCann.

It is time to order your 2022 Mah Jongg Card! The price is $9 per regular card and $10 per large card. When you purchase your MJ cards though the TBD Sisterhood, the National Mah Jongg League makes a donation back to us.

This Week
The temple's administrative staff and clergy are currently working remotely and in the office. Leslie can be reached via email during regular temple office hours Tuesdays-Fridays. The rabbis are available by phone, Zoom, or in person.
For pastoral needs, please call the main temple number and you will be directed to the rabbis.
