Adult Learning Book Discussion Tuesday, April 26 at 7:30 pm
Please join us for a discussion of the book "People Love Dead Jews: Reports from a Haunted Present" by Dara Horn, a National Jewish Book Award winner, 2022 and a NYTimes Notable Book - Best Books of 2021. A thought-provoking, contemporary reflection on anti-Semitism and Jewish identity from a scholarly and personal perspective. Discussion led by Rabbi Karen Citrin with Mark Beal in person or on Zoom. You are encouraged to read the book, although not required. This discussion will also relate to Yom HaShoah next week. If you are planning to come in person please let Rabbi Karen know as it helps with set-up.
In order to promote meat-alternative cooking/eating, our group would like to make a digital cookbook of your favorite vegetarian and vegan recipes, including any special holiday recipes. Once compiled, we will make this cookbook available to all members. Thank you!
JF&CS Family Table Donations
