It has been a beautiful Sukkot week and we hope you are enjoying the fall weather. Our High Holy Day season draws to a close this Shabbat and Simchat Torah, when we complete the yearly cycle of Torah reading and start over again. Jewish tradition teaches, "Turn it, turn it, for everything is in it." (Pirkei Avot 5:22). It can be a dizzy time, all this turning, pivoting, and starting over. We also hope that the holidays have offered some grounding, footing, and foundation. As we will read this Shabbat in Genesis, God called each day of Creation "good." May you all have a "good enough" year ahead, and hopefully experience moments of blessing and joy. - Rabbi Karen and Rabbi Micah
